Read all the reviews, finally found this small size hard to find jug for heating milk in the microwave, rec it today only to find that the lable says not suitable for microwave use!!! Its only a couple of pounds, but its should of stated this in the product description.

It should be noted it is not ½ Pint but 1 Cup (so is 8 oz. not 10 oz.); it is correctly marked 250 ml..

Also appears to be a good accurate measure for the kitchen etc..

I was looking for a jug to heat just a small amount of liquid in a microwave. Most supermarkets offer 500ml and above, and Tesco's 250ml jug wasn't even microwave-safe. This product, though, was ideal. The markings are clear, the jug is durable, and it arrived both quickly and in one piece. Top marks!

The measuring jug itself has clear markings, but I find the handle somewhat difficult to get used to. The jug which this one replaces had a full handle, so you could hold on to it - those fingers which didn't go through the handle could be placed underneath to steady the jug. I don't feel totally in control of the jug with this half-handle. Why are jugs changing to this new type of handle?
